It’s nearly Christmas time! and get your thinking caps on…

Thinking what present to buy a loved one or work colleague ? Head into our on line shop for lots of unusual, unique lavender products, or please do come and visit our little charity cafe where you can get a delicious hot drink while you ponder the gift choices! OR a gift voucher ( at sale price!) that gives admission to the field and one of Ian’s , highly rated!!, talks. (*note talks are only on thursday or saturday mornings and need to be booked in advance, with places limited)

We have been enjoying a beautiful autumn, with the rain coming at exactly the right time for our replacement baby plants to get established before the winter sets in. Ian has been busy swatting for an exam in spraying! it is rather a joke as we are only going to be using bio pesticides on the vineyard, but it is always good to learn the correct way to doing things.

Talking of vineyard … ours is coming on well, with the vines seemingly loving the hot dry summer. Malcolm, Peter and Ian have also been on a learning course for vineyard pruning, and we are hopeful we will have our first crop and some wine this time next year ! so we are very excited!! our first bottles of fizz are going to be called Bubbenhall Bubbles!…… if anyone has ideas for logos or vineyard name please do let us have a sketch or chat in the cafe on a saturday 10 – 4pm ( if used, a suitable wine prize will be on its way to you 🥂)

Saturday DECEMBER 20TH 10 – 4 pm , Sunday DECEMBER 21 st 10 – 2pm , we will be CLOSED December 27th, January 3rd ……. then OPEN every Saturday from January 10th 2026 10 – 4pm
