Yeh!! 2026 season has started!

Be careful what you wish for! having had a late frost for 2 nights in may that devastated the new flower spikes of the Angustifolia Folgate. This meant the plants had to start again with flowers, so we have had a slightly delayed beginning of flowering (what a change from 2025!) and there are fewer flowering heads, however having said that, the field is still looking lovely, and the Maillette and Grosso are on track and will produce a mass of flowers and hopefully oil! However wishing for sunshine to bring the flowers on, we now have extreme heat and have had to close the field early on 3 days!! let’s just get back to gentle warm summer days that we can all cope with!!!

Our lovely visitors have started arriving, we especially love seeing the children enjoying running up and down the rows, and getting involved with the wildlife. The bug hunt is great, and the children enjoy hunting!

We have a lovely shade canopy now at the cafe , so more space to get out of the sun (or rain!)

We are proud of our daughter publishing her second book, this is for sale in the shop, and at times she will be in the farm signing copies and reading tarot cards for anyone who would like! The book brings age old wisdoms together with science, it is a very uplifting book that everyone would benefit from, and encourages you to look at nature and the wonderful world we live in! (I maybe a little biased 😊)
